IYD is working in Sirur Sub watershed of Kundgol Taluk, Dharwad Dist., under the World Bank Aided Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovation Development (REWARD).  6,438 ha. of land comes under this Sub Watershed. The Program Development (PDO) of REWARD is to strengthen capacities of national and state institutions to adopt improved watershed management for increasing farmers resilience and support value chains in selected watersheds for participating states and has two key Result areas: 1) Strengthen institutions and supportive policy for watershed development and 2) Scientific watershed development and enhanced Livelihoods.
